Stereotaxic arm is valued for its positioning precision. However, when it comes to positioning the fiber-optic cannula, some of the precision is lost when attaching or detaching the cannula to/from the arm. To simplify the implantation of the cannula and maintain the precision, we have developed a Stereotaxic Cannula Holder for attaching our cannulas to the stereotaxic arm.
• The diameter of the Stereotaxic Cannula Holder is 6.3 mm.
• The length of the Stereotaxic Cannula Holder is 7.9 cm. An optional adapter of 10 cm long can be added at one end (SIA_5 or SIA_7.9).
• The SCH_1.25 has been redesigned to allow implantation of two-ferrule cannula with pitch 1.8 mm.
• An optional clamp (SCL_7.9) can be used to fix the Stereotaxic Cannula Holder on stereotaxic apparatus.

The Mono Fiber-optic Cannula is an assembly of a bare optical fiber, a fiber ferrule and a receptacle or a sleeve.###: Corresponds to the fiber length specified in the ordering code generator section.
The Two-ferrule Cannula provides two implantable fibers, each within its own ferrule, at a precise distance exceeding 1.7 mm.###: Correspond to the fiber length specified in the ordering code generator section.
This adapter allows the use of M2, M3 or GS Cannula Receptacles with a Stereotaxic Cannula Holder.
We offer adapters to attach our stereotaxic holders on stereotaxic frames that use 7.9 mm or 5 mm diameter rods as standard.
This adapter is a double clamp designed to have rods of fixed diameter or the latest version that allows variable clamping diameter option from 5 to 8 mm on one side and 5.8 to 9 mm on the other side.
